Someone needs to teach this girl how to properly eat fruit! She actually ended up eating the whole banana (peeled of course) by herself. I was impressed.
Oh, and I guess you're getting a little sneak of the kitchen in progress. Adam was just finishing sealing the tile.

iPhone Friday
Last week when I was attending Alt. I was stressing and stressing because I was going to be gone all day Thursday and all day Friday. I had never been away for more than 2-3 hours so I was worried she wouldn't handle it well. Plus we're still nursing so I just wasn't sure how it was all going to play out. Guess what? I don't think she even realized I was gone. She was great and had so much fun with Adam and some friends who helped out while Adam had class. These first 4 are ones Adam sent me while I was at the conference.
This next one cracks me up. Sawyer was in the front yard barking and Rilo climbed to the window, pounded on it and started yelling at Sawyer. Guess she's picked up on me scolding Sawyer for barking at every living and nonliving thing near our yard.

An Evening Snippet
This is just a random video, but it shows a little of Rilo and Sawyer playing tug o' war and then Rilo just chatting. I thought it was kind of cute.

By the Train
Adam is in a photo class for school so we went out to shoot some pictures by the trains. After Adam got his shots in, we switched and I took some of the 2 of them.

Eleven Months
I love this little girl with every ounce of my being. The thought of her instantly brings a smile to my face. I can't remember life without her!
At eleven months, Rilo:
At eleven months, Rilo:
- has gotten really confident standing on her own, with nothing around
- has taken a few steps, but isn't quite ready to do it all the time
- likes to stay in this funny position that we call the "football player, take a knee" pose. And she does it all. the. time.
- loooves crackers. And yogurt + cottage cheese. And loves feeding anything she doesn't like to Sawyer
- added "dog" and "cat" to her words and can point them out in pictures
- gives the best wet kisses and cute snuggly hugs now that she knows it gets a big reaction from us
- loves to squeal at the top of her lungs and fake laughs and coughs
- is obsessed with anything water, including but not limited to the toilet
- is such a chatty Kathy. She loves to talk, talk, talk
- begs and pleads to watch Sesame songs on our iPhones
- loves to play tug o' war with Sawyer
Maybe she'll be a gymnast like I was?

The Cutest Smiles
I guess Rilo has been missing being outside as much. I took her out front yesterday because it was a really nice day out (as opposed to the bitter cold days we've been having). She was SO happy. Which you will probably be able to tell in these pictures!
I love this next one. Check out those adorable dimples!!
Happy Eleven Months Rilo Jane! Eleven month post to come on Monday!

Just One For Today
Sorry for the lack of post today...I was up until 5:30 getting things together for my new main blog and just didn't have time to get a post up. I'm putting up one picture for now and promising that tomorrow is full of the cutest smiles you've seen!!
Notice the awesome bruise on her head!

Video: Rilo and Sawyer
This video was actually taken around Christmas time, but I think it's a great example of what an awesome dog we have. Sawyer and Rilo are so cute together (when she's not tormenting him). They love to play tug-o-war and she loves to feed him (much to my dismay). So glad she has such a patient friend to grow up with!
I probably should have shortened this video, but it's late and I'm a tired Mom!

iPhone Friday
Uh oh, now that I actually have cabinets, it looks like I'll need cabinet locks. Somebody likes to check out the pantry!
She uses this thing as a walker.
She loves to brush her gums. Anytime we walk by the bathroom, we have to grab her designated toothbrush!

Bows and Binkies
You'll notice in these pictures Rilo is wearing a bow without a headband! She barely has enough hair, but it stays put! Now mind you it has to be in the back middle of her head, but yay for her!
Also, in a few of these pictures she has a binky, but we are pretty much binky free these days. She has not had a pacifier for naptime/bedtime for the last several weeks. I had planned on weaning her from it around 1 year, but she had a plan of her own. She started chucking it as soon as I would give it to her. At first I thought she was just playing a game, but then Adam pointed out that maybe she just didn't want it. So we just didn't give it to her one night and that was that. If she finds one around the house, she'll put it in her mouth. But she definitely doesn't need it anymore. Go Rilo!
We were a little grumpy after afternoon naptime!
Thanks Dollar Store for these cute cat slippers.
