Rilo and Sawyer's Leash

Whether or not Sawyer's leash is on him or not, Rilo likes to hold it.  I think it's especially cute when she actually walks him.  She's pretty good about bossing him around and not letting him pull her.  Haha.

Stripey Sensation

I kept calling Rilo my little stripey sensation yesterday.  This was a post-nap walk and then only thing cheering her up was Sawyer.

Backyard Helper

Adam took Rilo outside last week to work in the backyard so I could try and clean up the house. But then I looked out the back door and saw them all in the yard and had to go out to play for a little bit. She won't be young like this forever!

This next one was hilarious.  Adam ran inside to get something and she was calling sooo loudly for him.  "Daaaaaaaaaad!  Daaaaaaaad!"

On a Walk With Aunt Jess

Lou is here to visit and we decided to head out on a walk.  We almost took another dog home with us...I think it must have run away and was just roaming the neighborhood.  Well Sawyer and this dog became fast friends and it followed us for a good portion of our walk, before it eventually turned around and headed home.

An Evening Snippet

This is just a random video, but it shows a little of Rilo and Sawyer playing tug o' war and then Rilo just chatting.   I thought it was kind of cute.

This video was actually taken around Christmas time, but I think it's a great example of what an awesome dog we have.  Sawyer and Rilo are so cute together (when she's not tormenting him).  They love to play tug-o-war and she loves to feed him (much to my dismay).  So glad she has such a patient friend to grow up with!

Rilo's First Snow Day

Yesterday morning we woke up to snow everywhere.  And it didn't seem to want to stop!  We've had some snow in the last couple of months but this was the first big snow!  We had over a foot to play in.  For some reason we hadn't ever taken Rilo to play in the snow, so we decided yesterday was the day!

Of course, she loved it!  She crawled all around, stuck her face in it and smiled and laughed as Sawyer hopped all over the backyard.

It's been a little while since I've done iPhone Friday!

Maybe Rilo will be a gymnast like I was because she loves being upside down, or leaning her head back.  I found her like this the other day.

Sawyer and Rilo have really become interested in one another.  Sawyer sits next to her anytime we're on the floor.  He likes to lick her ears and her hands.  And tries to play with her toys.
