Video: Dancing

Adam caught the tailend of this little dance number, but it's still makes me laugh.  She was pressing the paw of her bear to make the bear play songs and then dancing.  She was so excited about it!

Just Hanging Out

I decided I want to do a better job documenting a few little stories and moments from each day so I don't forget them.

Moments from yesterday: Rilo took her usual position at the window on my bed, but this time much laughter came as she discovered that Sawyer was outside in the front yard.  She then spent the next 10 minutes yelling "dog" excitedly and pounding on the window so he would see her.

We went and ran a bunch of errands in the early evening and Rilo smiled and waved and said "hi" to everyone.  Such a ham.  I love how infectious her smile is, for me and everyone around her.  I love how she yells out "dad!" to random people because it's her favorite word and it gets their attention.

And now to the pictures...After Rilo dumped Sawyer's water bowl (you know, the new ones we just bought that have lids on them to prevent this sort of thing) on herself, I let her just hang out in her diaper and shirt.  I could nom on those leggies all day.

iPhone Friday

I can't remember if I have mentioned it yet, but Rilo can say "ball" now.  That puts her word count at 6.  Her favorite word is still "dad"... I think she says it at least 30x a day.  Our new favorite game is the "dad-mom" game.  She says "dad", I say "mom" and this goes back and forth repeatedly.  She thinks it's hilarious.  How does she know that it's funny to torture me?!

Rilo is sporting her new Pierce shirt from Gpa Cyle.

These are really cute pj's my Mom and Tali sent.  However, I think Rilo kind of looks like a boy in them.  Adam and I had fun calling her random boy names.  Like Steven and Christopher and Robert.

This picture cracks me up.  I walked out of a room for a minute and came back in to find this little girl.  She had pulled down a bowl of strawberries and was helping herself.  Gotta love her!

Happy Baby

We brought Rilo into Adam's work the other day and boy was she being a ham.  She was smiling, laughing, waving and "talking" to everybody.  Someone asked if she was always this happy and I realized that I am pretty lucky, because yes, she is almost always this happy.  Now of course she has her sad moments, like yesterday evening for an hour where she was not content no matter what I did.  But for the most part, she is just a smiley, sweet little girl. 

Where does she find all of these binkies?

Love these 2 videos.  The first one is Rilo turning up the music and dancing in the car while we were waiting for an appointment.



The second is her walking!  Don't mind the really high shrills coming from me!  She is getting much more confident and is walking more often.  Such a big girl!

Cabinet Locks

Now that the new kitchen is done, the next step is definitely cabinet locks, for obvious reasons.
