First Dress

Up until now, I've just been dressing Rilo in onesies. I decided to put a dress on her yesterday. It didn't last long though...She is quite the spitter!

Rilo and Sawyer

If you can't tell by now, Sawyer likes to be in every picture I take. It is so hard to get him to move unless I shut him out of the room. He especially likes to be involved when I take pictures of Rilo. He is very gentle with her and loves to sniff her little hands. He has been adjusting surprisingly well for being the spoiled little dog he was.

One Month

Last Saturday, little Rilo Jane turned one month old. I cannot believe how fast one month has flown by. It has been the very best month of our lives! I can't even begin to describe how much love I have for this little girl. I'm not a very emotional person at all, but sometimes I look down at her and tears come to my eyes. Tears of happiness and immense love. Adam and I really couldn't be happier!

Just Like Her Mom...

We are just coming home from our trip, so I haven't had a chance to upload any photos from my camera. But here's one from my iPhone that I just love.

The other morning, Rilo woke up around 7ish. I decided to put her in bed with us to see if she would go back to sleep. She must love snuggling as much as we do, because she fell back asleep for several hours. Adam and spent the morning watching her sleep so peacefully. Eventually she ended up in this position; on her side with her arms out. This is EXACTLY how I like to sleep! It made me so happy to see her so peaceful sleeping just like her momma.

iPhone Friday

My sophmore year of high school, my friends and I met Monica. She was a foreign exchange student from Spain. We quickly became good friends with her and I still keep in touch with her through Facebook even though she's in Spain! She sent over these adorable monogrammed binkies. Thanks Monica!

Rilo hasn't actually had a binky since the hospital. They messed with our nursing so I took them away. But now that she's older and we're well-established in the feeding/eating department, I introduced them to her again. And you know what she did the first time? Gagged. Ha. But now she likes them as she's falling asleep.



She looks kind of angry in this picture...probably because I had just woken her up with the noise from the phone.


Happy weekend! We're on another trip! To California this time, to visit one of Rilo's Great-Great Grandma's.

Boots

My sister Tali happens to be one of the sweetest, most thoughtful girls I've ever known. She's only 16 but is always thinking of others. Throughout my pregnancy, Tali spent her time at EVERY store looking for things for Rilo Jane. And she still does! Just a few days ago, I got a call from my Mom because Tali was shopping online for Rilo and was wondering what she needed. Rilo is lucky to have such a cute Aunt!
