Bike Ride to the Park

These were taken a few weeks ago after Adam and Rilo biked to the park (I drove along side them, which wildly amuses Rilo).

Oh her poor poor hair.  It is in such an awkward mullet stage.  She is also growing a lovely rat tail.  Luckily I still think she's pretty darn cute!

At the Park Pt. 2

There's a little painted section at this park with a world map.  Rilo somehow knew the blue was water and decided to lay down in it.  Such a silly girl!

At the Park

Rilo's favorite place in the world.  Any park will do, as long as there is a swing or a slide or both.  These are from a few weeks ago.

Park

Rilo and I have been exploring a bit since our friends have left St. Louis.  We found a new park the other day and went to check it out.  The weather was absolutely perfect that day!

New Parks

We've been finding a few new parks around here.  This particular park has the craziest slides I've ever seen.  They're almost as tall as a 2 story house.  Don't go down them as an adult...your legs aren't made for them.

Anyway, Josie and Rilo like the little kid section.  I have come to find out that Rilo has no fear.  She will walk to the end of the jungle gym where there is a big drop off and just stand.  Or she'll try to reach out to grab the fire pole or something.  She just freely walks out onto the rope chain section at this park after I've just watched several older kids stand there and refuse to go on that part.  Basically, she has to be watched like a hawk at the park.  Haha.

This is the point where Rilo discovered the flock of geese, starting running after them and yelling "ducks".

We found this shopping cart at the park and Rilo thought it was so fun. She walked across the whole park to go get it.

This is Rilo's boyfriend, Dash. This was their date the other night. A ride on the 4-wheeler.

Where We Spend Our Time Everyday...

...at the park.  We walk down here each day and play for a little bit.

VIDEO: Swings

This video is just a quick clip of Rilo on the swings.  We were laughing because she likes to lean forward and not hold on while she's swinging.  Brave little girl!

Day at the Park with Dash

Last Thursday was especially warm and lovely.  We met up with our friends/neighbors, Nicole Dane & Dash.  We had a little picnic and then played with the kids.  Can't wait to have more days like that!

AND, I've failed to mention that at 13.5 months Rilo is FINALLY getting teeth.  One poked through on the bottom, followed by a fang on the top and then another one is peeking through on the bottom, all within a few days.  She is handling them like a champ!  In fact, she's actually taking longer naps, I think maybe because of them!?  I have a feeling they will all soon follow...but I'm okay with that.  Let's get them all over with at once!

Park Day

We went to the park and enjoyed the nice weather the other day.  Rilo was loving the slide!
