Thrift Store Grass Pt. 2

Rilo has been so funny lately.  I need to be better at documenting the things she says.  At this moment she is dancing around to her favorite song in a diaper and pink converse sneakers.   

Here are some Rilo-isms (some which have been on FB):

While we were waiting at a stop light on a walk, a lady came up and started petting Sawyer.  Rilo looks at the woman and says, "Stop Lady.  That's my dog.  You can't give love to Sawyer".

In a prayer at night after throwing a mini-fit while shopping, "Dear Heavenly Father, We're thankful for our bwessings. Please bwess that we can go to the store again and no whining and no crying. And that we can get the ice cream truck toy..."

Rilo has a crush on Cameron, who works with Adam.  The other day I was telling her that Daddy was coming home to eat lunch with us.  Apparently Rilo is already going through conflicted girl issues.  "Maybe Cameron will want to eat with me?  Nooo....Cameron doesn't want to eat with me".

Two mornings in a row, Rilo has emerged in just her diaper. When I asked her why she was taking her jammies off, she said matter-of-factly, " Because I want be Nakers Rilo!". 

Thrift Store Grass Pt. 1

After a quick trip to the thrift store, I let the kids play in some grass by the store to get their wiggles out.

Wintery Walk

Rilo and I have been bundling up to go on a walk.  After the first 5 minutes of refusing to wear gloves, she finally gave in and asked me to put them on.  Smart girl.

And guess what?  I have lots of non-iPhone pictures and a real Rilo update coming up this week and next week.  Can you believe it?!

The Look

I just love that she gave me the "over the shoulder look".  Love this shmunchkin.

Park

Rilo and I have been exploring a bit since our friends have left St. Louis.  We found a new park the other day and went to check it out.  The weather was absolutely perfect that day!

The Lake

Across the street from our complex is a lake with a gorgeous trail around it.  We like to take nice long walks, all while being lapped 4 times by an 85 year old man.  Seriously.  Anyway, it really is so pretty and Rilo loves to run on the trail and stop and check out all the twigs and leaves.

Across from our complex is a cute little lake.  It has a great walking trail that we decided to explore today.  I took a ton of pictures of her, but they were mostly film and I obviously won't have those back for a little bit.  I did manage to take a few digital as well.  I wish you could see her jeans.  They are so so cute.  In fact, I'm kind of jealous of them.  I want them for myself.

Stripey Sensation

I kept calling Rilo my little stripey sensation yesterday.  This was a post-nap walk and then only thing cheering her up was Sawyer.

On a Walk With Aunt Jess

Lou is here to visit and we decided to head out on a walk.  We almost took another dog home with us...I think it must have run away and was just roaming the neighborhood.  Well Sawyer and this dog became fast friends and it followed us for a good portion of our walk, before it eventually turned around and headed home.
