Yesterday was my Mom's birthday so we sent her this little video of Rilo.  I thought I'd share here too.

I really need to do an update on Lo, but it'll have to wait for now.  She can sing all of Twinkle, Twinkle, though you only get the first two lines in this video before she gets distracted by her favorite book right now, "Chrysanthemum".  I die over the way she says Chrysanthemum.

I don't know why I find this video so amusing, but I do.  Maybe it's because she's dancing to the sound of a cricket chirping.  Maybe it's because you get a glimpse of this funny side-to-side dance she's been doing lately.  Either way, it makes me happy!

VIDEO: Animal Noises

Rilo has had all the basic animal noises down for awhile now, so we've been working on some other fun ones.  Like a turkey, snake, and my favorite (which my Mom taught her) the "mean kitty".  I couldn't really think of all the new ones we've learned when filming this, but here are some old and new ones.  She's pretty quick to learn...it only takes one time for her to hear something and be able to repeat it (which is both a good and bad thing ha).

VIDEO: Rilo and Her Chair

This is what Adam videoed this morning.  Rilo playing on her chair and then halfway through, she is watching the video of her playing on the chair.  And she thinks she's hilarious!

While Adam lets me go back to sleep in the mornings, he and Rilo get to hang out.  Rilo almost always wants to dance!

Video: Roooooarrrrr

There was a dinosaur on the back of one of Rilo's books so I told her what a dinosaur said.  A few days later, she started "roarrrr-ing" over and over again at the store.  It cracks me up!  In this video she also throws in a puppy "ruff ruff".  Enjoy!

VIDEO: Rilo's New Game

I don't know why I found this so funny, but I did.  Rilo flipped over one of the drawers to my desk, grabbed some water and a clean pair of socks.  Then she would pour water on the drawer and then wipe it up with the socks.  I actually caught the tail end of this game, but she did this for a good 15 minutes.  Ha.  Very inventive!

Last week, Rilo figured out how to say her own name.  We also taught her to say Rilo Jane, but I couldn't get it on camera.

Someday I'll have my laptop fixed and then I'll be back to regular morning posting on this blog.  And maybe update the side to my new blog and all her month pictures!  Someday!

Rilo must feed herself these days.  And she's not too bad at it...

VIDEO: Swings

This video is just a quick clip of Rilo on the swings.  We were laughing because she likes to lean forward and not hold on while she's swinging.  Brave little girl!

Video: Dancing

Adam caught the tailend of this little dance number, but it's still makes me laugh.  She was pressing the paw of her bear to make the bear play songs and then dancing.  She was so excited about it!

Love these 2 videos.  The first one is Rilo turning up the music and dancing in the car while we were waiting for an appointment.



The second is her walking!  Don't mind the really high shrills coming from me!  She is getting much more confident and is walking more often.  Such a big girl!

An Evening Snippet

This is just a random video, but it shows a little of Rilo and Sawyer playing tug o' war and then Rilo just chatting.   I thought it was kind of cute.

This video was actually taken around Christmas time, but I think it's a great example of what an awesome dog we have.  Sawyer and Rilo are so cute together (when she's not tormenting him).  They love to play tug-o-war and she loves to feed him (much to my dismay).  So glad she has such a patient friend to grow up with!

I probably should have shortened this video, but it's late and I'm a tired Mom!

Video: Rilo Standing in Her Crib

Adam went to get Rilo out of her crib and lookie what he found...a little baby standing and impatiently waiting to get out!  She had been playing in there for a few minutes, but apparently she was done, as evidenced by the sad whine.  She has some pretty strong legs underneath all that chunk!
