iPhone Friday

I tried to get this up early, but Collier had a rough night last night.  So that means I did too!

Rilo LOVES her brother.  She is so sweet with him and so interested in what he's doing.  She gives us a running narrative all day long.  Collier loves to stare at her...the feelings must be mutual!

Gigi's Visit

We felt so lucky to have my Mom come stay with us last week. I felt fantastic the first week, but struggled a little beginning of the second week.  So she really came at the perfect time!  Rilo had her own personal playmate 24/7 and they had a blast!  And Adam and I were treated to yummy meals and a clean house.  Someday I aspire to be like my Mom...I'm pretty sure she is superhuman.

Here are a few more from the last session!  Gotta love holding up your baby with one hand while trying to take the pictures with the other!  Hence the not so perfect, yet cute results!

Rilo & Collier

Time for a relaunch on this poor neglected blog.  I did so well with Rilo's first year and then have slowly slacked her second year.  I'd like to keep this blog going on a more consistent basis, but I know that I just don't have the time to blog here 5x a week.  So for now I'm going to try to do Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  It will be a mix of film, digital and iPhone photos and I'm not guaranteeing more than 2 or 3 photos at a time.  Hopefully that will keep everyone happy, including myself!

Anyway, on to the photos of Rilo and Collier.  So far Rilo has been doing really well having a little baby brother.  She narrates everything he does and says "Hi Collier" a million times a day.  I especially love when she mimics the things we say to him.  For instance, I heard her say "Hey Little Man", a phrase Adam and I often use when talking to him.  She's pretty sweet!

I bribed Rilo with some gummy worms yesterday so I could take some pictures of her in one of her Valentine's Day outfits.  I just can't get enough of her...she is fun and funny and sweet as can be.   So happy to have a little Valentine and can't wait to meet a new little Valentine sometime soon!

"I need candy!!"  Everything is "I need...".

Jumping on the Bed

We spend more time on our bed than we do doing anything else I think.  Rilo loves to snuggle, tickle, jump and play on there.  I need to record her saying "Mommy snuggle ME".  Her inflection is adorable!
